Single Use Lifting Sling
One-Time Flat Webbing Slings for Offshore & Pipeline Lifting
WLL 1–15T | 7:1 Safety Factor | EN 1492-1 Colour Coded | CE | JB/T 8521.1-2025
China Lifute Sling Group
Single use lifting sling is a disposable flat webbing sling designed for exactly one lifting operation. Woven from 100% high-tenacity polyester (PES) flat webbing with reinforced stitching, it delivers the rated working load limit (WLL) with a 7:1 safety factor, then is retired after the lift — eliminating the hidden-damage risk of reused slings on critical projects such as subsea pipe laying, oil & gas pipeline installation and one-off heavy equipment lifts.
As a one-time use lifting sling, it is engineered to be a consumable lifting component: the single use sling is proof loaded to 2×WLL before delivery, clearly marked with WLL and length, and retired after its designated lift cycle. This single use lifting sling design gives project teams full control over sling condition, because every single use lifting sling that goes into a critical lift is factory-fresh and fully tested.
All single use lifting slings are manufactured by Taizhou Lifute Rope & Net Belt Factory with a 7:1 safety factor, colour coded according to EN 1492-1 (violet 1T, green 2T, yellow 3T, grey 4T, red 5T, brown 6T, blue 8T, orange 10T), and compliant with ASME B30.9, JB/T 8521.1-2025 and CE requirements. Custom WLL, width, length and OEM marking — such as the black WLL marking with the Lift logo — are available on request.

• Single Use Design — engineered for one lifting cycle; the single use lifting sling is retired after use per the lift plan, with no fatigue, no hidden damage and no reuse risk.
• 7:1 Safety Factor — the minimum breaking load of every single use lifting sling is 7 times the rated WLL.
• Flat Webbing Construction — 100% high-tenacity polyester flat woven webbing with reinforced stitching for stable, damage-resistant load bearing.
• EN 1492-1 Colour Coding — violet 1T, green 2T, yellow 3T, grey 4T, red 5T, brown 6T, blue 8T, orange 10T, for instant WLL identification.
• 2×WLL Proof Tested — every single use lifting sling is proof loaded to 2×WLL before delivery, with WLL and length clearly marked on the tag.
• Wide Temperature Range — suitable for -40°C to +100°C working conditions, with elongation ≤3% at WLL for stable lifting control.
• OEM Marking & Custom Specs — custom WLL, width and length; black WLL marking with the Lift logo screen printed on the webbing.
• Lightweight & Flexible — soft, flexible and easy to rig; protects the load surface and simplifies handling on site.
WLL (Working Load Limit) | Colour Code (EN 1492-1) | Reference Width | Reference Length |
1 T | Violet | 30 mm | 1 – 10 m |
2 T | Green | 50 mm | 1 – 10 m |
3 T | Yellow | 75 mm | 1 – 10 m |
4 T | Grey | 100 mm | 1 – 10 m |
5 T | Red | 100 mm | 1 – 10 m |
6 T | Brown | 120 mm | 1 – 10 m |
8 T | Blue | 150 mm | 1 – 10 m |
10 T | Orange | 180 mm | 1 – 10 m |
12 T / 15 T | Custom (combination marking) | Custom | Custom |

Reference values only — final width, length and WLL are confirmed per order and applicable standard.
General Parameters
• Material: 100% high-tenacity polyester (PES) flat woven webbing
• Safety factor: 7:1 (breaking load = 7 × WLL)
• Elongation: ≤3% at WLL
• Working temperature: -40°C to +100°C
• Marking: WLL, length and standard number on sling tag; OEM marking available
• Proof test: 2×WLL static load test before delivery
The single use lifting sling is widely used wherever a one-time, factory-fresh sling is required for safety or procedure reasons:
• Offshore oil & gas pipe laying — one single use lifting sling per cycle
• Subsea / marine pipeline installation
• Steel pipe handling, transport and stacking
• Power plant & wind turbine component lifts
• Heavy steel structure one-off lifts
• Shipbuilding and dockyard operations
• Precast concrete component handling
• One-time heavy equipment installation lifts
How it works:
• Step 1 — Inspect the single use lifting sling for cuts, abrasion, chemical or UV damage before the lift.
• Step 2 — Rig the sling according to the lift plan; verify WLL and sling angle.
• Step 3 — Perform the designated single lift within the rated working load limit.
• Step 4 — Retire and discard the single use lifting sling after the lift; never reuse it for a second lift.

Every single use lifting sling is manufactured and colour coded according to EN 1492-1, and complies with ASME B30.9, JB/T 8521.1-2025 and CE requirements. The safety factor is 7:1, and each sling is proof loaded to 2×WLL before delivery.
• WLL, length and standard number clearly marked on the sling tag of every single use lifting sling.
• Single use slings must be retired after the designated lift and must never be reused.
• Inspect before each lift for cuts, abrasion, chemical or UV damage.
• Protect the sling from sharp edges; use edge protection when required by the lift plan.
• Store in a dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight and corrosive chemicals.
• Factory direct from Taizhou Lifute Rope & Net Belt Factory — full control over webbing quality and delivery.
• Every single use lifting sling is proof loaded to 2×WLL and individually inspected before packing.
• Colour coded according to EN 1492-1, with clear WLL and length marking on each sling tag.
• OEM service: black WLL marking (e.g. WLL 20T 2M) with the Lift logo screen printed on the webbing.
• Custom WLL (1T–15T), width, length and packing available for project-specific requirements.
• Experience in offshore, pipeline and heavy industry projects across multiple markets.
Q: What is a single use lifting sling?
A: A single use lifting sling is a flat webbing sling engineered for one lifting cycle or one designated lift operation. After that single lift it is retired and discarded, which eliminates the risk of hidden damage, fatigue or reuse of a used sling.
Q: What safety factor do single use lifting slings have?
A: Our single use lifting slings are manufactured with a 7:1 safety factor, meaning the minimum breaking load is 7 times the rated working load limit (WLL).
Q: Can a single use lifting sling be reused?
A: No. A single use lifting sling must be retired after its designated single lift, in line with the lift plan and safety procedure. It is a consumable lifting component and must never be reused for a second lift.
Q: Which standards do single use lifting slings comply with?
A: Single use lifting slings are manufactured and colour coded according to EN 1492-1, and also comply with ASME B30.9, JB/T 8521.1-2025 and CE requirements. Every sling is proof loaded to 2×WLL before delivery.
Q: Can you make custom sizes or print our logo on single use slings?
A: Yes. Custom WLL, width, length and packing are available, and we offer OEM marking — for example the black WLL marking (e.g. WLL 20T 2M) with the Lift logo screen printed on the webbing.
